 Wo'Moon Day Saturday 28 th June 2008
Tornaveen Hall Nr Torphins Aberdeenshire


We are organising a day for Wo'Moon to connect, share, dance, sing,drum, etc in Tornaveen!

The intent for the day is to bring the women together from all different cultures and backgrounds. To build bridges and to create a venue where you can find like minded women to share stories with, to laugh with, to dance with etc. Many women have asked for a day like this to come in the North East of Scotland, and some of the Wo'Moon of the Circle of One are offering their help and energy to make this happen for you!

There will be workshops, talks, stalls, teas and coffees etc. 

Some of the Workshops are

-African Dance By Zoe Lampkin

-Aromatherapy at home

By Jenny Slater, who will share her wisdom about the use of essential oils in the home environment

-Moon Cycles

-Local herbs for Self healing

This is a time to reflect on what a woman symbolises. Fairley Taylor will be going back 2000 years and giving a little bit of history,covering cycles and elements from puberty to older women .She will explore about the season's of women using herbal remedies and crystal's.She will share ayurvedic teachings and talk about the sancity of the shakti (womb ) and how it is coverned by the moon and its cycles .


We invite children, however, we ask you to look after your child, as we do not have creche facilities.
We welcome men, however this event will be focussing on workshops etc for women only. We thank the men for their support in our journey :-)

The day will start at 10 am and finishes at 4pm

The entry fees are (tickets cash only on the day)

£ 5 per adult
£ 2.50 concessions
£ 2.50 children 14-18
free children 13 and under

Circle Of One

Today we live in a very hectic world full of chaos.....At times it can be difficult to see through the troubles that surround us and we forget how to stay in our centre of Power....

 Power of Love, Beauty, Compassion, Joy, Balance and Harmony.....

 To stay connected to these 'Gifts', that we all own through our birthright, it has come to me to set up a group for Women to re-connect and join together to remember the Power we all have within. This group is called 'Circle of One'.  We will meet in my garden, in a Mongolian Yurt, a sacred space, which represents the womb of Mother Earth and connect with Father Sky. It provides a safe and beautiful space for woman to meditate, sing, chant, drum and share what they feel is needed at the time. We can use this time together to re-connect with our Divine Feminine Energy to heal ourselves and others.
