What is Reiki?
REIKI IS DYNAMIC
it is the manifestation of the Healing Power of Love
REI - Spirit and KI - Universal Life Energy
Together these two Japanese words mean Spiritual Energy, and together they are
the name of a natural, holistic, and completely safe System of Healing
which you can give to yourself as well as to others, and to animals and plants.
Reiki is the cosmic life energy that surrounds us, and is within us, and which flows through all living things.
Chi - Chinese, Ki - Japanese and Prana - Indian
Holistic Eastern Medicine and Philosophy has always known of, and used, this natural
and abundant source of healing power that can be channelled through us
whenever and wherever it is needed.

is the powerful, yet very gentle, generation of this Universal Life Energy which activates The Natural "Self-Healing" of the Body, Mind and Spirit.

Reiki Healing Sessions

I offer Reiki and Shamanic drumming.

Depending on the client's need, a Reiki healing session will be with or without Shamanic drumming.

We will discuss what is a technique that works for you, and what you would prefer.

 I was taught in the Usui Reiki Tradition and have been taught Shamanic drumming by a Peruvian Shaman.

Reiki and Drumming

Reiki Drumming Healing sessions combine Shamanic Drumming with the symbols of Reiki for a deep physical healing. The client lays, fully-clothed, on the treatment table. During Drum Journeying Sessions, the Reiki Drumming Practitioner facilitates a journey for their client. While circling round the table, the drummer keeps a steady beat while the client focuses on an issue to be healed. The issue is re-visited through imagination, re-invented through intention, healed, and then let go of during their journey. There is a processing period after the journey.
Earth-based healing, such as drumming, has been around for millennia. Sound Healing, in particular, has an immediate effect upon each and every cell of the body. Often, long-standing physical and emotional issues can be released through the beat of the drum. It is a relaxing and holistic experience..

Distant Healing

Distant or Absentee Healing is the transmission of the Reiki energy to a person or animal without the client visiting the Reiki practitioner. So, you are able to receive the Reiki energy in your own environment.The Reiki energy will be transmitted on the same level as that of being physically present at a Reiki session with a Reiki practitioner.

Distant Reiki treatments
